Money Making Mining

Mining is a very wealthy profession as you can collect rare Arcanite bars randomly from higher level nodes. Each Arcanite bar sells anywhere from 30-50g (depending on your economy) and is also used in making some of the most powerful weapons / armor in the game.

There are other rare regeants that can be found in mining that also sell for considerable amounts. It's quite possible to be a miner and not be a smith or engineer and do very well for yourself in World of Warcraft.
