Simple Guide to helpful MODs

Recovered from http://wow.gameamp.com while searching for MODs.

Here is a simple group of mods that work together that can make your warcraft experience better. They are all beta tested and updated to 1.12. None of them have keyloggers in them or viruses and they work wonderfully together.

For easiest setup - plug n play type mods:

CT Core Mods Just download the whole thing, it is very useful and user friendly. This is updated with each major wow patch. Guilds will expect you to have this.

Fizzwidget's Profession and Helper Mods These are AMAZINGLY helpful for everyone. Pick and choose which mods you may want or need from here. I have used them all for one or more of my characters. Dru loves the disenchant predictor and gemologist. :-) Also there are great stories provided!

Recipe Book 1.11.1 Use version 1.11.1 because version 1.12 has had many bugs in it and you dont want to deal with them. Especially if you use sort enchant! This is a good mod if you have alts with tradeskills because it will keep track of all your recipies and theirs so you know who knows how to make what.

For advanced users:

Khaos/Cosmos My suggestion is turning off the thottbot downloader that comes with it though as that it will lag you out in PvP. It is very much like CT raid so you have to know your mods very well to use this, it is difficult but once you know it it is a piece of cake to use....not for the casual mod user. It will frusterate you if you have other mods running.

Titan Panel with Basic Plugins This is Titan Planel, it is a mod that lets you add plug-ins for various professions and skills as well as raiding. It is very useful. It also allows you o have interface options on your screen. So I suggest using this only if you have 19 inch or larger screen.
For endgame/raiding:

Vendetta - AQ. NAXX, MC Boss Mod This is my newest favorite mod out of France. It sends whispers to those who whisper you while you are raiding and gives them updates on your boss fights. An example "Razorgore at 90%" "razorgore downed after 1minute and 23 seconds" with some other information in it. So people dont think your ignoring them, and they can also see how your raid is going. It is very useful.

Damage Meters - Titan Plug-In This is a plug in that you can syncronize with other Titan or CT users to see how much ddamage you are doing in a group or raid. Percentage of damage, healing or damage or healing taken.

Titan Aggro plug-in This is another Plug-in for titan. It will tell you and report to your raid, group or set channel if you or anyone other than the intended tank/character gets aggro from your target.

Threat Meter Perhaps the most popular threat meter out there. Will show if the tank has enough threat for you to all out DPS. If you dont want aggro its definately a good thing to know. *sidenote the accusations of a keylogger on this are unfounded, I know atleast 250 people that have it and have never been hacked*

Item Rack This is for quick switching between gear. Especially helpful for resist gear versus regular raiding gear, or different resist gear - fire, frost, shadow. Whatever is in your bag you can switch between.
